Nigel Sinclair

The Reverend Nigel Sinclair took over responsibility for the churches of Pannal and Beckwithshaw in 2002. Nigel is married to Cheryl and they have four children who attend local schools, and further education.

Carole Ellis

Carole Ellis is St Michael's Church Parish Reader. She is also a Lay Reader and voluntarily assists in the running of the Church. She is involved in all aspects of leading worship and working in the Parish of Beckwithshaw. She is married to Jason and has two children, both of whom are currently studying at university.

Before being appointed to the role of Parish Reader (which is unique in the Diocese of Ripon and Leeds) Carole was licensed as a Lay Reader in the Diocese of Lichfield in 1993.

Ann McGeoch

Ann McGeoch rejoins Christine as Churchwarden, she is also Baptism Co-ordinator and Tower Bell Captain.

Christine Liddle

Christine is also the Deanery synod Representative for 2011/12

Kathleen Newbould

Kathleen has also been Junior Church leader for many years.

Anne McGeoch

Ann is Tower Bell Captain and produces the pew sheets each Sunday. She also organises the annual fund-raising Refreshment Day at St Peters and regularly holds book-sales to raise funds for church funds. Ann was appointed church Baptism Co-ordinator in 2009 and runs the monthly Pram Service on the 4th Thursday of each month.

Betty Moss

Betty has taken on the responsibility of organising the church cleaning rota since 2007, and also organises the regular 'Bags to Church' fundraising.

Gail Stead

Gail is Secretary to the PCC and a regular Junior Church helper. Gail is also an active member of the Fundraising Team.

Joyce Liddle

Joyce is Treasurer to the PCC and a member of the choir.

Paula Ramsay

Paula is a regular Junior Church helper and active member of the Church Fundraising Team.


The choir is led by Mrs Lilian Eyre and new members are always welcome. Sight reading is an advantage but not a requirement.
